About Careington - Unlike most dental plan providers, Careington is the brainchild of two dentists. Over twenty years ago they realized that many people were not receiving proper dental care, due in large part to financial reasons.
Some companies were passing the high cost of dental plans on to their employees, many of whom were choosing to let their families do without. Others were simply eliminating dental plans from their employee packages altogether.
In 1979, the doctors founded a member network that helped both companies and individuals. They amassed a fraternity of dentists who agreed to charge considerably lower fees to their counterpart patient members . . . and it worked ! !
Their expertise gives Careington first-hand experience when it comes to understanding the care and needs of dental patients. Because of this industry knowledge, Careington members are offered a dental plans package that is both comprehensive and current with the latest procedures.
