It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, which means the Christmas goodies shall soon cover our tables and fill our kitchens. It’s a wonderful time of year for enjoying the company of loved ones and snacking on yummy holiday-themed treats. Unfortunately, while you’re indulging on scrumptious sweets, your teeth are under serious attack. With all that extra sugar coating your teeth, you are much more likely to get a cavity or two during the holiday season. No need to worry though, here are a few tips to help you keep up with your dental health during the Christmas season.
Tip #1: Eat at Pre-Determined Times
The temptation to graze on snacks and sweet drinks all day long is great around the holidays. Who doesn’t enjoy sitting, chatting and snacking? Don’t give in to this temptation! Your teeth will thank you later. Instead of munching all day, set up specific times for everyone to eat. You can have a meal and sugary sweet snacks during this designated time, but not after. Tip #6: Brush Your Teeth Regularly
