Why do dentists want to participate in a plan like this?

Great question! Our tens of thousands of dentists are better able to fill their appointment time slots by participating in dental discount plans. Also, they can spend more time taking care of patients and less time filing claim forms for reimbursement from insurance companies.

What kinds of dentists participate in this plan?

Our network includes some of the best dentists in the nation, which includes General Dentists, Oral Surgeons, Orthodontists, Periodontists, Prosthodontists, Endodontists, and Pediatric Dentists. Plan administrators ensure that all dentists meet the following requirements:

  • Undergo a thorough background check
  • Current state license in good standing
  • Pass our 5-year work history evaluation
  • Resolution of any past complaints
  • NPDB (National Practitioner Data Bank) report, which inspects any malpractice claims history or state licensure actions
  • Possess a current DEA or CDS (which allows the dentist to write prescriptions)
  • Current malpractice insurance
  • Pass inquiry for Medicare/Medicaid fraud or opting out of Medicare

What kinds of dental discounts do my employees receive?

Your employees receive 20-60% off their dental work and 20% off at in-network specialists, such as orthodontists. For a full list of savings for your zip code, check out our price chart.

What participation requirements do I need to have in order to qualify?

You only need 3 participating employees to qualify as a group. This makes it easy to obtain necessary participation if you offer the program. Most dental insurance plans require some high participation percentage among the employees in order to qualify as a group. This requirement can be hard to meet unless the employer is paying for it. Our plan can be a voluntary or partially voluntary program depending on what you, the employer decides.

Who can my employees include as dependents?

A spouse or anyone living in their household, or anyone the employee is responsible for like a student at college or a parent they are responsible for.
